                 華航擬定輸運計畫，第一波輸運班機20日啟動

    華航總經理孫洪祥今天 (19日) 要求，只要機場與航路許可，華航務必優先將滯
留歐洲的旅客輸運返台。華航計畫利用目前尚停留在法蘭克福的兩架A340班機，於第
一時間運送滯留旅客返台，而明天恢復行駛的台北—德里—羅馬班機，也將於返台時優
先載運滯留歐洲的旅客，三架班機預計可紓解96位商務艙與769位經濟艙旅客。

    根據目前的歐洲空域狀況判斷，火山灰影響的範圍有逐漸縮小的趨勢，因此將先
恢復明（20）日早上台北-德里-羅馬的班機，此架班機可以提供36位商務艙和277位經
濟艙旅客，此一班機將於羅馬當地時間20日22:40起飛返台。

    而華航也要計劃，只要機場開放、沿路航路允許，並取得機場時間帶，隨時準備
讓停留在法蘭克福的兩架客機起飛，預計總共輸運60位商務艙及492位經濟艙旅客。

    由於正確起飛時間尚難確定，輸運班機將不接受訂位，只接受原已訂妥華航歐洲
返台班機之滯留旅客登記。自本（19）日19:00開始，滯留旅客可利用電話或於華航網
站進行網路登記，註明姓名、連絡電話、原訂班次、艙等與最近機場等資訊，以利掌
握欲返台人數。待歐洲機場開放、沿途航路無礙後，即可於第一時間載送旅客回台，
華航歐洲各分公司會在確認班機可起飛前通知旅客，請旅客務必於接到華航確認通知
後再前往機場，在其他歐洲城市之旅客如欲搭乘第一波班機，也可上網登記，再利用
陸路運輸至羅馬或法蘭克福搭機。

    根據目前的天氣資料判斷，除了羅馬班機起飛時間確定外，華航在法蘭克福的飛
機也會在機場開放的第一時間儘速載客返台。除了第一波的三架輸運班機外，華航也
決定在機場開放之後另加派班機，進行第二波將所有滯歐旅客儘速載運回國。

   CAL Offers Extra Flights To Transport Passengers Stranded in Europe on
                                 April 20


April   19,  2010  Taipei,  Taiwan  -  China  Airlines  make  an  immediate
arrangement for stranded passengers in Europe by resuming flight CI-071/072
Taipei  – Delhi – Rome – Delhi – Taipei on April 20, and later two CAL A340
aircrafts  grounded  in Frankfurt will join the services once the Frankfurt
airport is reopened. A total of 96 business and 769 economy passengers will
return  to home shortly. “China Airlines will put every effort to transport
the stranded passenger in Europe back home in no time, once the air traffic
situation is allowed.” emphasized China Airlines President, H. H. Sun.


According  to  the  current situation of European airspace and the volcanic
ash  is progressing slowly and diminutively, China Airlines will resume the
operation of Taipei- Delhi-Rome service on April 20. The return flight will
depart  at  22:40  on April 20 from Rome, accommodating 36 business and 277
economy passengers.


CAL’s  is  ready  for  the situation when Frankfurt airport is reopened and
over  flight  permit  is  granted,  two  grounded  aircrafts  will take off
anytime, carrying 60 business and 492 economy passengers back to Taipei.


To  evacuate  the  stranded  passenger from Europe, these two extra flights
will not accept any new booking.  Stranded passenger whose flights had been
cancelled  resulted  from  volcanic  outbreak  will  need  to  call any CAL
European  branch office or register in CAL web site which will be effective
at  19:00  on  April 19, with the name, phone number, original reservation,
class  service,  and  nearest  airport.  CAL staff will contact them if the
flight  schedule  is  confirmed  and  seat  is available. CAL would like to
advice  passengers  do  not proceed to airport before they get confirmation
from  CAL  staff. For those stranded passenger who stay in the neighborhood
cities  and  need to take these three flights could use land transportation
to Rome and Frankfurt.


Taipei-Delhi-Rome-Delhi-Taipei is currently resume operation; and the extra
flights from Frankfurt will be departed as soon as the weather condition is
allowed.  In  addition, more extra flights will be dispatched to convey the
entire  stranded  passenger  in  Europe right after the European airport is
reopened.
